Article 2. This Federal Law shall come into force from the day of its official publication.
This Federal Law shall not be applied in the preparation and conduct of elections and referenda in which voting is to be held before expiration of three months after official publication of this Federal Law.
Article 3. This law invalidates:
the RSFSR Law «On the Election of the Head of the Administration» (Bulletin of the Congress of the People's Deputies of the RSFSR and the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, 1991, No. 45, p. 1491);
the Resolution of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR «On Putting into Force of the RSFSR Law 'On the Election of the Head of the Administration'» (Bulletin of the Congress of the People's Deputies of the RSFSR and the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, 1991, No. 45, p. 1492).
