Chapter X. Filling 80 Vacant Officers of Deputies
Article 55. Filling Vacant Offices of Deputy
In case of earlier cessation of powers of a deputy elected in single mandate electoral districts, the election commission of the legal subject of the Russian Federation shall, within a months after emergence of the vacancy, set additional elections of a deputy of the legislative (representative) body of state power of the legal subject of the Russian Federation in the relevant electoral district. If the term of powers of the legislative (representative) body of state power of the legal subject of the Russian Federation expires less than in a year, additional elections shall not be set or held. Nomination of candidates in single mandate electoral districts, their registration and other electoral activities shall be exercised in compliance with this Law.
